Daraja Kenya & Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) Cooperation
Daraja Kenya is planting indigenous trees in areas where biogas digesters are being installed.
An order of various indigenous trees seeds has been made to Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) Muguga.
The tree seed nurseries will be set up in the initial 20 counties Daraja is launching its projects.
The seedlings will be distributed at no cost to the Community Based Organisations installing biogas digesters.
Feedback from these projects will assist the Daraja Kenya research team to assess the positive impact biogas has in relation to an improved environment.
